During its route it does cross the unmistakable landscape of the Patagonian steppe, made up of the typical stunted and withered bushes, such as the coirón, the black bush, neneo, gray bush, Parámela, etc.; noting the low rainfall in this area (300 mm annual average). Advancing on the route, you gain height, having a privileged view of the extensive Lake Argentino, of 1560 km2. Two day ride

We pick them up at 11 a.m. where they stay and we go to the corral located 3 km. from the center of El Calafate. There each one will meet their horse, companion of adventures.

We start the ride towards the Ski Brasero track, looking for a place by the Cubs River (name that was given by the abundance of cougar cubs that inhabit the area). Gradually we gain height in the direction of the pre-mountain range cross-country. We walk the path of the ranch’s old carts, recognizing as we go the typical Patagonian steppe (predominant geographical accident in this region of southern Argentina) populated with withered and stunted bushes. In this place in general we can see groups of rheas, guanacos and condors as we pass.
You sleep in an old ranch post or in a tent.
We return to El Calafate, we can divide the Co. Concuna by the canyon of the Centinela River. Then we can see the Co. Moyano, which is the highest in the area, from there you have a panoramic view of the entire area and the immensity of the Lake. Argentine (1560 Km2). Return to El Calafate at 6:30 p.m. about.
