Beagle Channel Lobos Island

Duration: 2:30 hours. – Departures: daily. Places of interest: Beagle Channel, Sea Lion Island, Sea Bird Island, Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (End of the World Lighthouse)

We set sail from the local tourist pier crossing the wide Bay of Ushuaia until we reach the Beagle Channel through Paso Chico.

There we will sail around the Island of the Birds where we will be able to appreciate the Fuegian avifauna. We will observe: Skúas, Black-browed Albatross, Vapor Ducks, Cauquenes, Cook Gulls and Gray Gulls. Then, we will approach Isla de los Lobos where we will be able to observe sea lions with one and two hairs. Both islands belong to the Bridges archipelago.

Arriving at Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (The Illuminators), we will be able to see the colonies of Imperial Cormorants and Rock Cormorants while listening to the story of the sinking of the SS Monte Cervantes that he starred in 1930.

This navigation includes a descent in Puerto Karelo, belonging to the Bridges Islands, where you can visit genuine Yámana shell middens. This guided walk lasts approximately 20 minutes and concentrates us on a panoramic point where very good photographs can be taken.

At the end of the journey you will be amazed by the view of the mountain range that surrounds the city of Ushuaia and its sumptuous nature that surrounds it. The route we take is full of historical value and, of course, landscape. We visit really interesting places that you should not miss the opportunity to see.

In case of completing 70% of the duration and/or scheduled tour, no partial or total refunds will be made. In case of unforeseen return by land, the place of arrival will be the tourist pier, THE PASSENGER who, having contracted the service, decides to cancel the excursion or does not show up at the place, date and time indicated for departure, will lose the amount of the same without right to claims.
