Tierra del Fuego National Park is located 12 km from Ushuaia and our tour begins when the guide looks for each passenger for their accommodation.
Visiting the Tierra del Fuego National Park is one of the activities that you cannot miss during your stay
in Ushuaia. This reserve is located 12 km from Ushuaia.
Our tour begins when the guide looks for each passenger at their hotel.
The first stop is at the End of the World Train station, there you can choose to take the train or continue with
our tour guide. The train trip lasts one hour and, on board, the story of the prisoners in Ushuaia is told.
Then inside the Park we will discover the most emblematic places surrounded by forests,
mountains and unparalleled landscapes. We will visit Lake Roca or Acigami, a dazzling lake of glacial origin, located on the border between Argentina and Chile. In that place we will make a short walk, bordering the lake and the Lapataia River, towards a cafeteria where there are bathrooms and we will have free time.
The last place to visit will be Lapataia Bay, where the Pan-American route ends. The southernmost place
that we can reach by vehicle! Together with our guide, we will discover all the secrets of the Park, while
We enjoyed the feeling of being at the End of the World.
Optional End of the World Train.
Duration: 1 hour. 7 kilometers of route.
The train ride is complementary to the National Park excursion. The End of the World Train invites you to relive the last 7 km. of the old route of the prisoners’ train, which departed from the Ushuaia prison to the slopes of Mount Susana to obtain different materials for construction.
On board the train you will be able to listen to history and enjoy magnificent landscapes, made up of the zigzagging river
Pipo, the Macarena waterfall, the tree cemetery and the majestic forest. Touring an inaccessible part of the
Tierra del Fuego National Park, you can enjoy this experience aboard a vintage railway with its steam locomotives and elegant cars with large windows.
